Sara Rachel Scott is a dynamic singer-songwriter known for her emotive vocals and heartfelt lyricism. Sara’s debut EP, 'Sweater Threads', was recorded at Prime Cut Studios in Nashville and released in June 2025.
She recently opened for internationally acclaimed Scottish folk singer Julie Fowlis at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, where she performed original acoustic pieces alongside selections in Scottish Gàidhlig. In 2023, Sara joined forces with her brother, Rocky Allen, to form the acoustic country duo Chamberlain Hill. Their debut single, 'Love Like Mine' dropped that summer, was followed by over 40 live performances in their first year, including appearances on WBRE-TV’s PA Live, Bold Gold Media’s The River, and Backyard Broadcasting’s WILQ FM. Their second single, “Broken Future,” an original co-written by Sara and Rocky, was released in October 2023.
As a classically trained vocalist, Sara has also appeared as a featured soloist in works by Schubert, Mozart, and Shostakovich, and performed the role of 'Santuzza' in Cavalleria Rusticana with the Lycoming College Community Orchestra. She was selected through national auditions to participate in the OperaWorks Advanced Artist Program in Los Angeles, where she premiered Opera Reconstructed at CSU Northridge, under the direction of Ann Baltz. From 2015–2023, Sara served on the voice faculty at Lycoming College and held the role of Music Department Coordinator. She has over a decade of experience as a vocal coach and educator, with additional teaching roles at the Community Academy of Stage and Theater, the Community Theater League, and the Uptown Music Collective in Williamsport, PA. She currently works as the Production & Orchestra Coordinator for the Bach Choir of Bethlehem.
Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Lycoming College and is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), and BMI.
